Zombie killers, rejoice! Tencent’s original collaboration with Capcom for Resident Evil 2 will finally bring the legions of the undead upon PUBG Mobile.
Resident Evil 2 was released on January 25 for the Xbox One, Windows and PS4. It is now expected that the zombie mode will roll out with the official 0.11.0 update on PUBG Mobile by the first week of February, and it will be called “Resident Evil: Sunset”.

According to PUBG Mobile YouTuber Mr Ghost Gaming, the release date was mentioned to be “Global release – next month. Before 10th Feb”.
Currently, the PUBG Mobile 0.11.0 beta is available for download on Android and iOS at 1.7 GB in size. Based on user testing, the player will spawn in Erangel on an island known as the Raccoon City Police Station along with 59 other players.
Hordes of zombies will spawn in increasing waves of difficulties into the map, forcing players to not only look out for enemies but fend off the undead at the same time. Special bosses like the Licker and Tyrant will also be making appearances for added challenges. Killing these bosses and zombies will give players more rewards and loot to help them survive longer.
Players and fans of the Resident Evil series will also be happy to note that zombie movements and attacks are fluid and very similar to its console and PC versions. There is also an active day and night cycle to add more dynamic action into the mix.
The PUBG Mobile Squad feature will also allow players to team up in squads of 4 to improve the odds of survival.
Esports.com will continue to update once more details on PUBG’s zombie mode becomes available.
